Being located in a rural community, we here at Okefenokee Solar are familiar with agriculture and have many friends and family that own farms or work in the agriculture industry. We are dedicated to finding more cost effective solutions for the agriculture industry. That is why we have teamed up with the Sun Rotor family. As an authorized dealer for Sun Rotor solar products, Okefenokee Solar can offer a cost effective solution for livestock watering. With the Sun Rotors DC pumps we can pump water in locations that are just too costly to run conventional power to. Okefenokee Solar isn’t just limited to pumping water. Using a grid tied PV system we can offset the power used to run workshops, tobacco barns and such.

System Innovation

Compared with traditional alternating current pumps, the efficiencies of Sun Rotor pumps are 225 better due to the permanent magnet brushless DC motor and the positive displacement helical rotor pump ends. The pump section of our helical rotor submersable pumps contains only one moving part and is easily serviced or rebuilt in the field with common hand tools (a 5mm Allen Wrench).

Technological Innovation

All of the Sun Rotor pumps run off of a DC input controllers. These controllers have an efficiency rating of 85%. The controllers are protected against reverse polarity, circuit overload and high temperatures. They also have speed control (the pump speed is adjustable down to 30%of max flow ratings). The Sun Rotor controllers also feature an integrated MPPT technology. In a nutshell, they insure the most efficient configuration of voltage and amperage at a given wattage input. (watts = volts x amps)

Motor Innovation

Sun Rotor pumps feature a brushless DC motor. There are also no electronics present inside of our DC motors. Our pumps are constructed with wetted material, stainless steel and rubber cables. The motor cavity is sealed and filled with enviro friendly vegetable oil.

Warranty

All Sun Rotor pumps have a 5 year total warranty for customers in the U.S.
